What To Expect
1
Arctic Bar
Sample a drink specialty or beer at one of Ketchikan's oldest bars. Hear about the Arctic's history and other crazy stories of destruction in the area. Get to know the mascot with some great photos. Enjoy the view from the only bar with a deck dockside in town.
2
Creek Street
Historic Red Light District along the beautiful Ketchikan Creek - a great place for photos and watching the salmon swim up stream to spawn. Along the way there, you will hear stories of the colorful past of Ketchikan, see historic buildings and get to stretch your legs along the fairly flat sidewalks through town.
3
Dolly's House Museum
An example of the types of businesses that used to line the boardwalk street in the earlier years.
4
Potlatch Bar
Another historic bar at the top of the Fishing Fleets' docks is a favorite Fishermen's hangout. Again, you will sample the "Latch's" specialty drink or enjoy a cold beer while wrapping up the tour with just a few more laughs and crazy stories from your tour guide, locals or the bartender.

We enjoyed visiting these historic bars and trying the great Alaskan beers and Bloody Mary's. Despite the rain we had a nice walking tour and learned some interesting things about Ketchikan. Meeting place is convenient to the cruise ships. Thanks again to our hosts Terry and Judy. Loved the photos you shared.

This was one of the highlights of our week in Ketchikan. Hanging out with Judy and Terry was a great experience. They showed up some excellent spots to wet your whistle with a bit of history. We also went on a picturesque walk through Ketchikan in an area that was cleverly hidden.

I had a blast bar hopping through Ketchikan and learning about the history along the way. Terry's Tour was very entertaining and an easy walk for this old guy. I just got a new hip. I wish every excursion was this much fun!
