It was a picturesque morning on the Crystal River as John guided the boat away from the dock toward Hunter Spring. The River was teeming with life as the sun nudged above the horizon. The boat ride was peaceful and enchanting. Once we arrived at the spring, John and Megan spotted a manatee almost immediately. Megan was so knowledgeable of the manatee’s patterns that she could predict their movements and guide us into position to get the best interactions. My wife and I watched with fascination as our children experienced world class observation of these majestic animals in their natural habitat. I highly recommend a swim with manatees in Crystal River. When you do, choose River Ventures. Their groups are small and their guides are passionate and experienced. You will not be disappointed.

Will organized company with a perfect service. From arrival to finish they team toke extremely good care of us. After the information briefing/video we got our wetsuit and drove to the boat. Continue to explain that we where guest in there house and we always should be respectfully guest. We where 9 person and we agent out looking for the big manatees. After founding a group of manatees, the guide jump carefully into the water and the crew support and help all into the water, and the guide continue to help us in the water - super First meeting I most admit I was surprised, a big female over 1500 pound surfaced beside me. Wow she was big, We did swim around for some time and got value for money. What a mooring Thank you

We chose River Ventures based on positive Trip Advisor reviews, and we are so glad we did! They met and exceeded every expectation we had! Every member of staff that we encountered went above and beyond to provide wonderful customer service. We went on a Swim with the Manatees tour with John B. as our captain and Crystal as our in-water guide, and they were both incredible and made our experience memorable! We were a little nervous about how our 8 and 5 year old boys would do. Crystal was great with them in the water, and when one of my sons got tired and returned to the boat, John was wonderful with him. This was the highlight of our trip and was well worth the money! We highly recommend River Ventures - we can’t wait to return ourselves!
