We had an amazing time with Michael and Tanner! We were with 6 adults and 2 little ones, we booked the tour for maximum 10 persons. When you book for 8 people you will have a private tour. Everything was perfect, there were swimming suits in every size, safety movie and they really did they’re best to give us an amazing private time. We saw manatees, also a mother with a child. I would recommend river venture you will have a great time!

We (mother 59 and daughter 31 years) booked the 7 am Tour. It took us 2 hours driving from Kissimee to Crystal River and we made it ob our own to their office. We felt really welcomed and they were so helpful. There was hot chocolate, coffee and tea for free :) The tour was amazing! Eventhough the manatees just started to come to crystel river there were totally enough. What an awesome experience!:) It was cold out there but soooo werth it! Definitely do it!:)

This was a bucket list item for me, and it was awesome. Troy was a kind and knowledgeable guide. The rest of our tour group became cold after several hours in the water and returned to the boat. He continued swimming with me and pointed out different fish, hot springs, and stories about the manatee hot tub in colder months. The water was not as clear due to Tropical Storm Nicole. However, we had no trouble finding and swimming near four beautiful manatees. We also witnessed a baby manatee nursing. Troy communicated clearly the whole time. He aided in positioning and spotting so that you were afforded the best views while not encroaching. He also took great pictures. Kelly was our captain. She was also very warm, knowledgeable, and an excellent spotter. My husband returned to the boat before me, and enjoyed learning about the area and her experiences. She is clearly well-liked in the industry, and several other boat captains offered their sighting to her as we passed. It was a great time. All of the staff we encountered were kind, enthusiastic, and seemed to love their jobs. We will return. Bring cash for tips. It didn’t occur to me (I was manatee focused), and I wish I had more to offer. (Y’all should consider providing a Venmo QR code). They also recommended Cajun Jimmy’s Seafood Cellar for dinner. It was delicious. Get the peel and eat shrimp.
