This 13-hour tour makes the most of a one day journey to the Grand Canyon. See the Grand Canyon via a small group of up to five passengers maximum. This small group tour gives you a more personal and comfortable experience as you make your way to your final destination. You may be taken to a variety of stops throughout this tour such as the Painted Desert, Cameron Trading Post, OR Route 66. You'll get a chance to visit a few of the canyon's best overlooks such as Yavapai Point, Moran Point, Grand Canyon Village, and Desert View Watchtower.

In making arrangements for the outing, we found Steve accessible, transparent, and accommodating. Wife and I happy to be picked up from our hotel. We're introverts, so traveling with only a pair of college-age brothers was a huge plus--seeing the youngsters enjoying their trip together and taking pictures a little too close to the edge of the Canyon for Mom back home was endearing. Minivan was roomy, comfortable , and smooth riding. Like other reviewers, we are in the Darian fan club: his knowledge of and connection to/love for the land was obvious and added an intangible to our outing that I expect would be missing from some guide recently relocated from some other region or country. He was thoughtful of his charges and was a very good driver. We were worn out by the almost 14-hour day, but he kept cruising us safely back to Phoenix under the waxing gibbous moon.

It was a great experience taking Canyons tour with my two other friends. We were three females but felt very safe and comfortable during the drive. Darian was so nice sharing about the AZ landscape, vegetation on our way. He customized the trip, made stops as we asked. He kept telling us about the history and uniqueness of the places. We entered via east and had best canyon views from 4 or 5 different spots. Darian is very patient and knowledgeable. We definitely recommend.
