We took a day trip from Scottsdale, Arizona to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon in early December, and it was a perfect way to enjoy the scenery without much effort. It was chilly, but the air was clear, and we got some great photos, with the help of Mike, our guide, who suggested fun and interesting backgrounds. He also was a very safe driver, and we really appreciated being able to relax in the van for the long ride there and back (3 hrs each way). I would gladly book another trip to Antelope Canyon with AST. Highly recommended! We were a group of 5.

This was a great day trip from Phoenix, Steve was our guide and has an amazing amount of knowledge of a wide range of subjects. He kept us entertained and informed at all of our stops. The first stop is Sedona and the rock formations are amazing, then the Chapel of the Holy Cross is a great stop. We were able to do some shopping and have lunch in Sedona before heading to the Grand Canyon. There really aren't any words to describe the awe you feel when you first see the grandeur of the Grand Canyon. We were able to spend a few hours at the canyon, will be back for a longer stay next time, and were able to walk down into the canyon as well as enjoy the vistas from the rim. It is a LONG day but the sights and the experience were well worth it. I would 100 recommend this tour and this operator, Arizona Scenic Tours. You will not be disappointed.

The Grand Canyon is on everybody's bucket list. This was one of the most awesome and inspiring things I have ever seen. Mike with Phoenix tours was very funny and informative. He was flexible and managed our time well. He knew the best spots to view the Canyon and the river. This was every penny - something my son and I will share and remember forever.
