We had a fantastic day thanks to Jacob. He had a great day planned out for us and offered various options based on what we were particularly interested in. The hikes weren't too tough and the views were so rewarding. I know my 7 year old had the time of his life. Great day with a great guy sharing his home with us. If you're in new to the island definitely spend a day having your own island adventure.

When you a book anything online, especially when it is 4000 miles away, you always take a risk that it won't be what you had expected. Well that couldn't be more true with this tour, but in the most epic and fantastic way possible. Jacob and Kainoa (his dog) are the best tour guides of Oahu you could ask for. We booked a last minute trip to Hawaii after our plans for Thanksgiving were changed. I didn't have the time to do the research I normally do for tours, excursions, etc. so I was a little anxious as to how this would turn out.. After booking Jacob called to see what I was looking for, as he gears each tour to your abilities, wants, and needs. I had decided to propose to my now fiancé and he said he had the perfect place. We started with a challenging but very doable hike up a mountain to watch the sunrise come up over the mountains. It was amazing to say the least. The rest of the day we visited local eateries, off the beaten path beaches and finished at an amazing secluded waterfall. I could write 20 paragraphs about how awesome this day was but I'll sum it up by sharing what my teenage son said. We have traveled the world during his life and he said to me at the end of the day, that it was the single best day he had ever had on vacation. When you can get a 16 year old to tell you that, you know you picked the right tour. Jacob is a super chill guy, who will show you what Hawaii is really like. He will customize the trip to your needs, show you some amazing views and scenery, take tons of pics and videos, and even give you a bunch of great ideas on what to do and where to eat on other days. The best for me is it was all from the heart. Sometimes on tours you get told to check out a restaurant and after going you realize it was just a friend of the guide or the guide gets a kickback or something. Not the case with Jacob. He pointed us to some phenomenal restaurants we would have never found ourselves, with no expectation that we "tell them i sent you" or anything like that. He's just a genuine good guy. He found the most amazing spot for me to propose. She said yes and I have some awesome pics and video that I would have never had been able to set up myself. Be honest with him about what you like and what your physical abilities are and you will have a day in Hawaii you will always remember. Plus he brings Kainoa, who is the best dog ever, but he did make sure we were OK with it ahead of time. We love dogs so it just made the trip that much better for us. Thanks for an amazing day Jacob and Kainoa. We feel blessed to have met you

Where do I begin. Jacob picked us up at 8am at our hotel. Van made us laugh but very comfortable and sand didn’t matter. We had two requests 1. No tourist places 2. Our 19 and 20 year old daughter wanted to swim in a waterfall. Our day started with a hike above Hanauma bay. It’s definitely a climb but paved. The view was unreal!! Jacob brought a drone and got some great pictures. As well as a camera. Next stop waterfall. A little hike then down a muddy mountain side were luckily someone hung ropes or we might never made it. When we finally got there we found a beautiful waterfall. Jacob took our daughters and climbed up waterfall to find another waterfall. Spectacular! Started to drive to the west side and decided to stop at Fresh Catch got lunch. If you like fish raw or cooked place to go! As we drove to the ocean Jacob decided to take a detour and went to come caves. Pretty dang cool! Off to the beach, went body surfing and played some games. About then we set up to watch the sunset. It was an experience watching the sunset over the water. We arrived at the hotel 8pm. Notice I didn’t name the places we went because it’s our job to keep secret locations. Kainoa Jacobs dog is a goof ball. Went everywhere we did sometimes faster. Found myself watching the dog to keep him safe when he was doing that to me. Wish we had been there few more days we would have used him again.
