What To Expect

Coldwater Excursions

Take in the sights as you are guided down Holmes Creek to a beautiful fresh water spring, Cypress Springs, in a canoe, kayak, or on a stand up paddle board (SUP), depending upon your preference. Your guide will be with you for the entire trip to set up and demonstrate all of the gear and to help you maximize your experience at Cypress Spring. Discover the best way to snorkel with an underwater scooter; it does all the work of swimming for you so you can take in the beauty below the surface and snorkel effortlessly. Document your experience with a GoPro, with mounts to tackle every job you won't miss a moment. Relax in luxury and let us do all the heavy lifting, packing, and setting up for you. Beautiful morning spent paddling to Cypress Springs and enjoying the beauty of area. We loved the rope swing, snorkeling and swimming while at the Springs. Our 5 & 8 year olds had a blast and were able to do most everything (except the rope swing!) Nice lunch. Guides were knowledgeable and very friendly- took pictures for us. Overall excellent experience and would highly recommend.

Cypress Springs was absolutely beautiful. It was an easy kayak to and from the Springs. Everyone with Coldwater Excursions was absolutely amazing. I was doing the tour solo mixed in with 2 different families. My tour guide was Cody. He was so great!! He was upbeat and was like a friend to me to make sure I didn’t feel solo. All the guides with business were super friendly and helpful. They also take pictures while you’re out there so you don’t even have to worry about getting the phone out.

This is a MUST-DO excursion on your 30a vacay! Kayaking and exploring the cold springs was easily our family’s favorite part of our week-long trip. Nick G was our tour guide and educated us from the start of the van ride to the drop off at Publix. He was a blast and took extra care to make sure everyone was having as much fun as he was. The underwater scooters and snorkeling equipment was top-notch and MADE the trip. All of the pictures they took and shared were an added bonus to the experience. We didn’t have to worry about bringing our own phones to capture every moment and could just enjoy the present. Worth every penny and considerably cheaper compared to other excursion options on 30a. Highly recommend this experience!
