There is some upriver paddling so children under the age of 10 should be paired with an adult

Kayaks have a 300 pound weight limit. Tandem Kayaks 550 pounds. Paddleboards 225 pounds

What To Expect

Coldwater Excursions

Take in the sights as you are guided down Holmes Creek to a beautiful fresh water spring, Cypress Springs, in a canoe, kayak, or on a stand up paddle board (SUP), depending upon your preference. Your guide will be with you for the entire trip to set up and demonstrate all of the gear and to help you maximize your experience at Cypress Spring. Discover the best way to snorkel with an underwater scooter; it does all the work of swimming for you so you can take in the beauty below the surface and snorkel effortlessly. Document your experience with a GoPro, with mounts to tackle every job you won't miss a moment. Relax in luxury and let us do all the heavy lifting, packing, and setting up for you. It was nice. The tour guide had told us we would stop along the way and see turtles and she'd tell us things about the Cypress trees but that didn't happen. Instead she was going pretty fast and it was hard to enjoy. When we got to the halfway point we didn't stay long at all which was beautiful but couldn't enjoy. They include everything you need but still costed too much not too last long. Then when we were being transported she was flying and almost hit someone. I wouldn't recommend paying so much.

The young men were kind, respectful and very friendly. They were informative about the wildlife and local history. Josiah & Christian were fabulous guides and representatives of Coldwater Excursions.

The cypress spring eco tour was amazing . The guides did a wonderful job of taking us to the spring. It's one of beautiful springs I have seen.
