What To Expect

Coldwater Excursions

Take in the sights as you are guided down Holmes Creek to a beautiful fresh water spring, Cypress Springs, in a canoe, kayak, or on a stand up paddle board (SUP), depending upon your preference. Your guide will be with you for the entire trip to set up and demonstrate all of the gear and to help you maximize your experience at Cypress Spring. Discover the best way to snorkel with an underwater scooter; it does all the work of swimming for you so you can take in the beauty below the surface and snorkel effortlessly. Document your experience with a GoPro, with mounts to tackle every job you won't miss a moment. Relax in luxury and let us do all the heavy lifting, packing, and setting up for you. I never knew such a beautiful spring existed in this area. Growing up, my family had gone to PCB fairly often. When my husband and I decided to go for the first time together, I did some research to see what might be "new" that I hadn't tried before. It was our first time kayaking, using a SUP, and swimming in a spring! It was certainly my favorite thing that I'd ever done in/near PCB. It took a little bit to adjust to the temperature of the water, but that didn't keep us out of it! My husband even jumped from the rope swing a few times. We really enjoyed the underwater scooters as well. We loved it and plan on doing it again the next time we're down there! Thank you, Coldwater Excursions!

We booked an excursion to the Holmes Creek Cypress Springs with a group of 10, and had a great trip. The guide was very professional and took care of everything. We literally just had to show up. They provided sunscreen, all equipment, towels, lunch, drinks and chairs. They even took pictures of the group while we were there and emailed them afterwards. The Spring is incredibly clear and beautiful. I would definitely recommend booking through this company.

I'm 64 years young, an avid outdoorsman from southern West Virginia, who spent a week's vacation in Panama City, Florida 9/15/18 thru 9/22/18. It was my wife and I ninth wedding anniversary we were celebrating with both being avid beach lovers. However upon our arrival there was a problem with the beach called the RED TIDE. Dead fish littered the beaches so we looked for other activities in the area for recreation. A brochure from Cold Water Excursions caught our eye so we questioned some of the locals about the experience and all stated "You'll have a good tme." That was an understatement, we had a GREAT TIME. These guys pick you up, feed you, supply you with canoe, kayak, surf board ect. to travel up and down a river that has the cleanest, coldest, refreshing water you will ever see or swim in. The experience is well worth the price and we will do it again next time we come back to Panama City. We give it 5 out of 5 stars.
