I have been to a food tour in LAX recently and this experience pales in comparison. This essentially takes you around the block to a few different places. The tour cost does not include the cost of food and certainly not worth it considering USD 40 for the tour guide, which was very average. The food also was ok only. No reservations made so it was not planned but rather adhoc at some places.

We are sorry for this guests experience. It is true that the price of the food is not included, but the guide collects $30 cash (not $40) which makes it $65. This is the least inexpensive food tour out there. Also, not sure why they think we didn't make reservations, we get there early and make reservations for each stop so they are ready for us when we arrive.

It was great to try a taste from several restaurants and learn a bit about it. I would have liked to hear more about the areaā€™s and restaurants history. Erin was funny and engaging and a joy to speak with.

Trying food that I never had before. Like the ice cream then with a little spice and how it balance each other out. The taste was awesome. Plus seeing all the old time candies you havenā€™t seen in years.
