What To Expect

Dealey Plaza National Historic Landmark District

Located within this district is Dealey Plaza, a public park surrounding the birthplace of Dallas. It is also the site of the JFK tragedy. See the Grassy Knoll and learn details of that fateful day. Stop for a photo of the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, which commemorates the site of President Kennedy’s assassination. Visit the Kennedy Memorial, a tribute to President John F. Kennedy.

West End Historic District

Known for its rich history, the West End Historic District is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Learn about the Dallas Holocaust Museum, the Old Red Courthouse & Museum, Founders Plaza and the Dallas World Aquarium.

Pioneer Plaza

Explore the spectacular Pioneer Plaza, a downtown park, which features a larger-than-life sculpture, a re-creation of a cattle drive in bronze, with Texas Longhorn Steers being driven by three skilled cowboys astride horses! Cross the stepping stones up to the top for the best views!

Giant Eyeball

My nephew & his girlfriend visited Dallas & Erin was our tour guide! As Erin took us to the great Dallas sites she taught us about its history, art, sports teams, culture, famous residents & their homes, buildings & many other things. She had great stories & we really enjoyed ourselves. She also provided excellent photo opts & we have great pics to frame & show our friends & family! Erin did an exceptionally great job & I highly recommend Discover Dallas & look forward to going on more of their tours!!

We really enjoyed our tour today A had the Dallas highlight and 1 extra jfk tour - we had to cancel this 1.5 yrs ago bc of a health problem - they were great to work with - no extra charges or problems- Rebecca was very knowledgeable, learned a lot - she knew where to stop for bathroom breaks - would definitely do again

Such a great time! Erin was so knowledgeable, and ensured we did not miss anything...what a fabulous introduction to a City we just moved to. We left with a full page of things to do later. We enjoyed the fact that the tour was private and catered to us, made it feel very intimate and family like. Highly recommend it!
