Five species of wild dolphins are also seen throughout the year, including mega-pods with up to 10,000 dolphins! Plus sea lions, marine birds, and even sharks. Took The Lilly boat which turned out to be a good thing because it was pretty bumpy and this is a bit bigger boat. The captain was GREAT and located several whales in different places. His banter was perfect - not overwhelming or phony or canned. He actually seemed as excited as WE were!

Though it was rainy and cloudy we had an excellent adventure. We saw dolphins and sea lions. We also saw a whale come to the surface. The crew really went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. Will definitely do again and recommend to friends.

This was our second trip on Captain Dave's Dolphin and Whale Watching Safari and it once again did not disappoint. We had relatives visiting here from Illinois so wanted to get them out on the water and hopefully seeing ocean wildlife. We ended up seeing 9 whales and numerous dolphins! The Captain got us right out to the whales within a half hour and knew exactly where to follow them. Our company said it was an adventure of a lifetime for them! I highly recommend this tour for your relatives and my husband and I are going to make a point of going every year during whale season. It was really fun!
