Five species of wild dolphins are also seen throughout the year, including mega-pods with up to 10,000 dolphins! Plus sea lions, marine birds, and even sharks. there are any number of whale and dolphin watching companies. How do you know if you are taking the best tour? Capt. Daves was a great choice. They didnt overcrowd the boats, and there was plenty of information about whales, dolphins, migrating habits, and their habitat. Heres what makes Capt. Daves the best. time wise, the tour was almost over, but the crew, working with other boats, were radioed that whales had been spotted. we stayed out beyond our time until we saw the whales, and then they took the time to follow a pod of dolphins, making sure everyone on the boat saw and enjoyed them. More than anything, I think the company and the crew do this to bring the wonder of these marvelous and elusive creatures to anyone who wants to explore. They seemed respectful pf the ocean, the whales, and their guests!

We saw 2 whales today, but that's ok. This crew goes above and beyond to search for dolphins and whales for us to see. We were so surprised to receive bags and hats as this was our 6th visit. Thanks Captain Dave's! You never disappoint, and we LOVE our hats!

Better than expected and we can only recommend! A beautiful clean catamaran provides the perfect viewing place for a plethora of whales, including dolphins. The dolphins showed off their swimming skills all around the boat. Go! Now! Have fun!!
