Five species of wild dolphins are also seen throughout the year, including mega-pods with up to 10,000 dolphins! Plus sea lions, marine birds, and even sharks. You'll depart from Dana Point, home to one of the most diverse marine eco-systems in the world. The day was perfect and the crew was very good! Captain Chuck, Caitlin and Stacy were on their game. We saw 3 gray whales and estimated 300 dolphin sand sea lions sitting on a buoy as we left and as we came back. The information which was imparted was also very helpful in understanding as much as possible about both species. Stacy took time to keep us informed since we were near the engine and could not hear everything as it was said. We stayed an extra hour because as we were heading in we observed another whale, so we stopped and watched it despite already being late...thank you for that. There were 20 passengers and that was ideal for being uncrowded and easy to view everything on both sides of the boat. The 300 common dolphins were just simply amazing!! Loved that!!

Our first adventure was May 2021, ever since then, we’ve been hooked so we signed up for an annual pass. We have been on all the boats. We love cruising on the Manute’a, This boat has wind & sun coverage and every spot on the boat you are able to see the dolphins and whales. And I can’t forget the underwater viewing pods. Lily is a big 65 foot boat, Which comes out on specialist occasions. Then their high speed boats are Fastcat and Allswell. Love that you’re very loaded to the water so much fun when you’re racing with the dolphins. FYI Always bring a jacket and hat or earmuffs. Because when it’s time to find a Whale these boats are fast. There is not one member of the team that We can complain about everyone is kind, courteous, friendly, informative & Passionate.

Awesome staff, very professional. We say alot of Whales, Sea Lyons, and Dolphins. It was a wonderful day with our 4 year-old granddaughter. The staff were great with children!
