Five species of wild dolphins are also seen throughout the year, including mega-pods with up to 10,000 dolphins! Plus sea lions, marine birds, and even sharks. We love Capt. Dave's Dolphin Safari. We have been probably more than 30 times and each time has been great. Whether or not you see whales or dolphins, it is still a pleasurable day out on the water, but it's gets even better when you do see them. The staff (at check in, and on the boat) is friendly, knowledgeable and fun. AND Mrs. Capt. Dave's brownies (you get one as you are leaving the boat) are yummy! We would highly recommend this to anyone, it's great.

I took a tour with my two kids (9 and 11) the end of August on the Manute’a. The experience was amazing! We were comfortable and felt very safe. It didn’t take long before we ran into dolphins. We saw hundreds of them along with a seal, sea lions, and Patches the dolphin. We got many photos and videos and was able to move around the boat to get different views. We came upon a dolphin stampede while at the front of the boat and it was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. The underwater viewing pods were fun too. The water wasn’t really clear when we were there so it was hard to see but it would be really neat to be in there when the water was clear. I will absolutely be boarding the tour again next time we are in town.
