For over 20 years we have provided the most unique and eco-friendly dolphin and whale watching trips to view magnificent Blue Whales, Gray Whales, Humpback Whales, Fin Whales, Minke Whales, and occasionally Orcas (Killer Whales), Pilot Whales, False Killer Whales, and more. Five species of wild dolphins are also seen throughout the year, including mega-pods with up to 10,000 dolphins! Plus sea lions, marine birds, and even sharks. You'll depart from Dana Point, home to one of the most diverse marine eco-systems in the world. I went out on Thursday, boat was not crowded, friendly staff. Did not get to see any whales but this time of year I know it's hit or miss . Did get to see 2 large pods of dolphins. Really enjoyed the experiance.

We cruised with Captain Christian, Hannah, and Stacy! It was an awesome experience. From the moment we were greeted at checkin, I was impressed by the kind and courteous staff. Each member of the staff seems to genuinely care about providing the best customer service possible. On our cruise, Captain Christian, Hannah, and Stacy had heard there were humpback whales in the area, so we headed straight there. We were so excited to see three humpbacks, one fin whale, several dolphins, sea lions, and a red-footed booby! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the marine life, and they even did some extra research to tell us about the rare red-footed booby. I highly recommend Captain Dave's! We'll be back, for sure!!!

Had a great trip , well organised , very knowledgeable staff ,doing their very best to find the whales for us to see . We managed to see a blue whale which was brilliant plus plenty of dolphins .all in all a great day
