Five species of wild dolphins are also seen throughout the year, including mega-pods with up to 10,000 dolphins! Plus sea lions, marine birds, and even sharks. This was the best part of our trip to Dana Point! While we did not see any whales, the dolphins were AMAZINGLY active! It was a peaceful and delightful venture out into the Pacific and my seven year old had never seen the ocean, let alone a catamaran or dolphins up so close! He and his Gram stayed at the front of the boat and had an absolute blast! The crew was really nice, knowledgeable and fun! Thanks Captain Carl and your crew for a wonderful trip!

The group size was around 25 people. There was plenty of room for everyone to get a good view. We saw hundreds of dolphins! It would have been nice to see a whale but I know that's not always possible, through no fault of the company. The crew was very attentive and helpful. Cool experience.
