Five species of wild dolphins are also seen throughout the year, including mega-pods with up to 10,000 dolphins! Plus sea lions, marine birds, and even sharks. LOVED this experience!! It was fun for me and my five year old daughter!! The captain and co-captains were super friendly and kept us all entertained with teaching us about all the pacific sea mammals and their jokes! There were glass linings in the rails so we didn’t get soaked(like other tours we’ve been on) so that was a plus! The rate was reasonable, they were punctual, we saw lots of sea mammals, and they offered snacks during and post trip! HIGHLY recommended!

My 8 year old and I decided last minute to go whale watching. We were lucky to have found 2 spots on a 2pm trip. The crew was awesome and the captains went extra far into the ocean to find the fin whales that had been spotted earlier. After some searching we found them and they were simply amazing! I was pleased that the crew had masks on the whole time and asked everyone to keep their masks on. On the way back we saw a beautiful pod of dolphins. Attentive crew, great boat plus a delicious brownie at the end. Thank you, Capt. Dave's - we'll be back!

Saturday 4/3 was my second whale watching excursion with Capt. Dave's. Both times have been amazing each in its own way. The crew is fabulous and the whale sightings and dolphin stampede were beyond wonderful. I will be going again very soon.
