Our guide, Andy, could not have given us a better tour not only of Daufuskie but of the life and history of the area. The island itself was a combination of history, culture, lifestyle and lush vegetation. It’s not a tour for children, though. This is a must do for anyone who wants to spend an afternoon discovering and learning.

My husband and I had a wonderful time on this tour. Captain Andy was amazing and so knowledgeable not only about Daufuskie but about Hilton Head Island in general. Loved his stories and humor. Saw many dolphins on way to island. Jean was also our boat with another couple going on kayak tour. She was very knowledgeable also. Ask for Captain Andy!

Be sure to get Captain Pete. He is one of the best guides we've ever had. Very extensive knowledge of Daufuskie, the Gullah history and Pat Conroy.
