Captain Pete was a terrific guide for our tour of Daufuskie Island last week! We have been to HHI a number of times, but I was looking for a new place to explore. Pete is a fountain of information about HHI and Daufuskie Island, and he knew almost everyone we saw during our trip. It's worth the extra cost to go with a guide. (Other tours will ferry you to the island, but then you're on your own with a golf cart and a map.) We saw many visitors who seemed lost on their golf carts, asking Pete for directions. We brought a small cooler bag with waters for our family of 4, but it wasn't necessary. Pete had a large cooler on the boat filled with ice / bottles of water for everyone. And we stopped at School Grounds Coffee for a few minutes and enjoyed delicious frozen lemonades, frappe, and freshly baked pastries. There is no lunch stop on the tour. I highly recommend the Outside Hilton Head trip from Shelter Cove, and you'll be in luck if you have Captain Pete as your guide!

My best friend and I had the best kayak tour with the guide, Grant! He really knew his history Daufuskie history, the dolphins we saw on the way to Paige Island were so cute. Thank you for such an amazing day!

Had an awesome kayak and nature tour trip with Pippi and Sebastian. Pippi is full of great stories that makes the trip fun and interesting. Nice facilities at Page Island. While kayaking we saw dolphins, turtles, shrimp flying out of water and lots of oysters that keep the waters so clean. Great trip. Don't miss it.
