This 4-hour Daufuskie Island trip provides a glimpse into a fascinating chapter of Lowcountry history on the undeveloped side of the island. My favorite part was our guide, Doreen K. Her knowledge and interest in Daufuskie Island was inspiring. She knew and spoke to residents and provided information that went beyond a script. We are coming back in September and plan on scheduling another tour with Doreen.

Captain Doreen was amazing! Knowledgeable, funny,skilled at the helm, and passionate about the island! She had wonderful stories and facts about everything! I would highly recommend this tour to everyone. We plan to return in September and book a private tour with her. Thank you!

Pippi was our guide and immersed us in an experience not soon forgotten. Her passion for Daufuskie Island is unparalleled- from the stories of the Gullah people to the history of the ancient oak trees- what a tour!! The boat ride was phenomenal as was the ride on the golf cart ( my brother in law got to drive ours!). Highly, highly recommend taking a step back in time to experience a beautiful piece of history and enlightenment about our country. It’s a must do while in Hilton Head :)
