I thought I would be stepping back in time visiting this island, that is only accessible by boat. There are cars on the island and paved roads although there are dirt roads and it is not as modernized as we are accustomed to these days. Three stops on the tour were at stores to make purchases. It is understandable that this poor island needs to boost their economy but everything was completely overpriced….$9 for a magnet made in China. All of this put aside, the history is fascinating and the boat ride was lovely.
