Last week I spent the most delightful afternoon touring Daufuskie Island with Captain Andy Kennedy. What a perfect way to spend a few hours on the island. The amount of information that he knows and shares with you is not to be believed. After rereading the Water is Wide I was able to see the places that Pat Conroy talked about in his book. The ride over and back was also perfect with the pods of porpoise playing beside us. Andy was wonderful in allowing us lots of time to just sit and watch them. I would recommend this trip for anyone wanting to spend an afternoon on the water and wanting to now how they live on the island. Thank you again for a wonderful afternoon and perfect memory.
