This was my husbandā€™s and I first trip to Charleston, we really enjoyed it. Meet the bus at Myrtle Beach at 6:45am and arrived back around 7pm. Wendy was a wonderful driver, she was so pleasant and experienced, Richard drove us around Charleston and gave us the guided tour he was great as well. They both kept us on schedule, if you asked any questions they would help you out anyway they could. It was a great way to see Charleston, with not having to worry about traffic and parking. When we arrived we were offered a bathroom break (bus also had a bathroom), and switched over to a smaller bus with Richard to tour Charleston, then he parked let us off and we had an hour to shop at the market and surrounding area, we meet a lot of nice vendors at the market. We arrived back at our bus early and some of the others on our tour were already on the bus, Richard served us our turkey sandwich, with chips, banana, cookies and a drink. We ate on the bus while waiting for the others to arrive, you can also take it on the ferry with you (our next destination) as you travel over to Fort Sumpter, after Fort Sumpter we had a choice of Boone Hall Plantation or the USS Yorktown. We chose USS Yorktown, Richard drove us there and Wendy took the others to Boone Hall Plantation. We would really do this trip again, there is so much more to see, you canā€™t see it all one day. It is a long day, with a lot of walking, I see why they tell you to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You can leave your coat and purchases on the bus you ride down on because itā€™s the same one that takes you back.

The tour overall was great. Seeing a city like Charleston by horse drawn carriage was wonderful. Only draw back was we were rushed back to the bus right after the carriage ride and didn't have any time to look through the market. The boat ride and Fort Sumter tour was really good. Here we had plenty of time to walk around, take picture, visit the museum and gift shop. Same with the Boone plantation, plenty of beautiful picture taking opportunities. I would recommend this tour for anyone visiting South Carolina.
