This tour offered a focused small group experience, a tour guide, a driver, water bottle beverage, and a clean and comfortable mini bus. Joe and Amber were exceptional guides. Amber made the tour fun and enjoyable as well as remarkably educational. She was very knowledgeable of the historical significance of each memorial and monument visited. The tour was definitely worth it.

Shuttle had us at the pick up by approximately 7:15. Tour bus was late, started the tour at approximately 7:50 PM, about 20 min late. Bus was full was seated in the rear of the bus, guide did not always use the mic when talking so missed some of what was said. Guide did not interact well with guests and discouraged discussion. Rest rooms locked at MLK memorial. Guide gave us 30 min at Lincoln, Korea and Vietnam. Bus was moved from where parked at Lincoln and we apparently did not hear or it was not announced the bus was being moved, had to call in to USA tours to find bus. Guide stated we had to end the tour as “one of the shuttle drivers was going off duty and we had get back” resulting in missing Iwo Jima memorial. Very disappointing over all.

That is very disappointing indeed. Would you be able to email us your reservation info and guide's name to [email protected]? We would like to follow up with them in training. Thank you for your feedback.

Our guide Dionne was the best part of the tour. He wove history, facts, statistics and dates into stories. What a great personality. So much fun.
