DC Monuments and Capitol Hill Tour by Electric Cart

Overview
See Washington DC’s major sites in a fun, unique way – aboard an electric cart! As you explore Capitol Hill, see famous monuments and landmarks including the White House, US Capitol Building, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Smithsonian and more. These eco-friendly, all-electric vehicles let you enjoy the fresh air while admiring great up-close views of DC's major locations and off-the-beaten-path areas. You'll also hop off your cart to explore some areas by foot.

This is a small group experience, with each electric cart limited to a max of 7 people. Whilst we do our best to seat groups together, we aren’t able to guarantee to seat together and at times groups may be asked to sit on separate carts.

This was the most miserable experience of our trip to DC….I reserved and paid for 2-hour electric truck ride for my family…..we received email confirmation the tickets were confirmed and money quickly withdrawn from my checking account. We showed up at the exact location we were told to meet driver. It was 96 degrees at 2:00PM Thursday afternoon and could not find the driver…. We never received a text from the driver confirming where we would meet. We never received a text beforehand to confirm location or provide driver contact info. We were searching for him for about 45-50 minutes… I cannot exaggerate how miserable and even dangerous this was in a very remote location of Washington DC walking around with our two young daughters who are 11 and 9. We sent two messages through app pleading for someone to contact us on our mobile phone yet only response was an auto reply stating someone was going to email us soon. We never received any emails. I even had my assistant back in my office in Michigan search in vain for a phone number so we could reach out and call someone….very frustrating….. Since then I have sent two emails to the reservation department asking for the courtesy of a callback. Once again no communication. This customer service model is nonexistent and even worse, can put their patrons in a dangerous situation…. with the only form of communication being a autoreply message. Later that night we did retrieve a voice message from our driver stating he was looking for us about 2 PM could not find us and was being instructed to leave. No text just a voice message. I contacted him he said he felt bad gave me the email address of customer service mailbox. Absolutely no awareness by this company of the potential dangers to customers; heat exhaustion, dehydration the dangerous remote location we are being told to meet the driver. The company managers are safely insulated in a bunker defended by auto reply bots that don’t work, email general address boxes they don’t need to answer and apps that do not allow for 2-way communication…no apology whatsoever shame on them
