DC Monuments and Capitol Hill Tour by Electric Cart

Overview
See Washington DC’s major sites in a fun, unique way – aboard an electric cart! As you explore Capitol Hill, see famous monuments and landmarks including the White House, US Capitol Building, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Smithsonian and more. These eco-friendly, all-electric vehicles let you enjoy the fresh air while admiring great up-close views of DC's major locations and off-the-beaten-path areas. You'll also hop off your cart to explore some areas by foot.

This is a small group experience, with each electric cart limited to a max of 7 people. Whilst we do our best to seat groups together, we aren’t able to guarantee to seat together and at times groups may be asked to sit on separate carts.

This is a great way to get an overview of many popular sites of DC. The car is really comfortable and V our guide was knowledgeable and fun! You stop at a couple of spots to get off and wander around but mostly you are driving by the monuments etc. Plenty time for photos. Our only issue is that the two people on the back of the electric car had difficulty hearing all the great info V was sharing with us....maybe a microphone or headsets might help this problem...overall it was a great experience and we highly recommend it.

My husband, Colin and I took this tour yesterday and we were so glad we did! Montie was our tour guide and he was so knowledgeable and friendly! The tour in the cart was comfortable and a fun way to travel around the city! We had times to get out and walk around the monuments and didn’t feel rushed. We will definitely take another tour when we come back to DC and will ask for Montie for sure!

So you’ve heard how great Veronica is...well, Colton was pretty great too. Really enjoyed him. It’s a super tour, on the funnest vehicle, just wish it wasn’t so expensive...$62 per person was certainly a splurge for us, but because we were in the city for 2 days, I felt a tour would be a smart purchase. And although it was pricy, we still gave a tip...So if you have $$, go for it. If you’re heart is set on taking a tour, consider this one. And when Veronica is not your guide, be of good cheer if you get Colton =). Another note...REALLY appreciate that someone was in the “office” (a real person picked up the phone) when I called the morning of the tour. We went to the address, 600 Maryland Ave, and there were food trucks everywhere and a huge bldg. - yet no signs of the tour or its company. Getting nervous that we may miss them, I called. Someone answered the phone, said they were on their way (we were super early), and told us to be at the flag pole at 10am. So thankful I didn’t have to stress ...to me, that was a big deal. Thanks!!
