No large bags or suitcases are allowed inside the museum, only handbags or small thin bag packs are allowed through security. Due to increased security measures at many attractions some lines may form on tours with 'Skip the Line' or 'No Wait' access. Some specific rooms inside the museum are subjected to a very quiet or restricted right to speak inside, in this cases your guide will provide the information about this places before entering the specific rooms where this rule applies. Some collections may vary along the year.

National Mall
Begin outdoors by discovering Washington, D.C.ā€™s vast collection of outdoor monuments. This tour is the best way to visit D.C.ā€™s iconic sites, including the White House. Weā€™ll explore the history of the nationā€™s capital as well as the monuments and memorials of the National Mall that feature figures like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Your engaging guide will share the stories about the major players and events in American history that have earned memorials on the Mall, including the Korean War, World War II, and Vietnam. Theyā€™ll even divulge the intricate symbolism woven into these structures.Ā

White House
During this tour you will be able to see the infamous White House, the official residence and workplace of the president of the United States. It has been the residence of every U.S president since John Adams in 1800.

Lincoln Memorial
You will also see the grand Lincoln Memorial, a monument which was constructed to honor President Abraham Lincoln, the 16th United States president. The monument towers over the Reflecting Pool, in the western end of the National Mall.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial
You will pass by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, a 2-acre national memorial which pays tribute to the members of the U.S Armed Forces who fought in the Vietnam War and were killed or missing in action. The memorial is made up of three separate parts: the Three Soldiers statue, the Vietnam Womenā€™s Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial War, considered the most popular feature.

Korean War Veterans Memorial
Another memorial you will come across is the Korean War Veterans Memorial. Dedicated on July 27, 1995, the memorial honors the 5.8 million Americans who served in the U.S armed services during the three-year period of the Korean War.

National World War II Memorial
You will also see the National World War II Memorial, a memorial of national significance which commemorates the Americans who served in the U.S armed forces during WW2 and all who supported the war effort from home, The Second World War is the only 20th Century event commemorated on the National Mallā€™s central axis.

Washington Monument
During your tour you will also see what is known as the Washington Monument, an obelisk built to commemorate George Washington, the first President of the United States.

National Gallery of Art
After a break for lunch (lunch cost not included in price of tour), move to the National Gallery of Art and follow your guide through one of Americaā€™s best collections of artwork produced by Renaissance artists, French Impressionists, and great American painters. See works from Claude Monet, Raphael, Gilbert Stuart, Vincent Van Gough, and Edgar Degas, as well as more modern artists like Picasso, Pollock, Warhol, and Oā€™Keefe, as you learn whatā€™s really behind the creation of some of these pieces. Your private guide leads the way through the halls of the museum, telling stories, and stopping at famous works of art. Some pieces youā€™ll see on this tour include Ginevra deā€™ Benci by Leonardo da Vinci, Self Portrait by Vincent Van Gogh, and Woman with a Parasol by Claude Monet. If you love Art, this is the place. All the masters are here and entrance is free. The Museums mostly close at 5 so trying to grab a quick visit on business can be tough. If you have to choose, go here.

The Mall has beautiful statues and museums that tell the history of the United States. It continues. to grow with additions recently Native American and Black American museums.
