Death Becomes Her on Broadway Ticket

Overview
Life’s a b*tch and then you die. Or not!

Madeline Ashton is the most beautiful actress (just ask her) ever to grace the stage and screen. Helen Sharp is the long-suffering author (just ask her) who lives in her shadow. They have always been the best of frenemies…until Madeline steals Helen’s fiancé away. As Helen plots revenge and Madeline clings to her rapidly fading star, their world is suddenly turned upside down by Viola Van Horn, a mysterious woman with a secret that’s to die for.

After one sip of Viola’s magical potion, Madeline and Helen begin a new era of life (and death) with their youth and beauty restored…and a grudge to last eternity.

For me it was an unexpected blast! I always was a fan of the movie but going itno it and not having read any reviews I wasn't sure how it would translate. In many ways I enjoyed this more than the movie (as greaat as it was). i was surprised by how dynamic they were able to make it and how some of the effects of the movie were able to translate to the stage. The whole cast (and our show had a stand in for Madeline) were great. Songs were immediately catchy and the sets and (as I mentioned) the effects were truly amazing. My only criticism was nothing to do with the show. The theater had uncomfortable seats even by Broadway standards. Dress comfortably and unless you absolutely need it don't bring a coat or any extra items.
