Deception Pass Bridge Island Tour from Seattle

Overview
Often this is a private tour. Or you might go with one other couple. No more than 5 allowed on this tour.

Tour to one of the most photographed places in Washington: Deception Pass Bridge. Walking across this 180 foot high bridge over  tumultuous Puget Sound and ocean waters is an exciting experience with fantastic views.

Lunch is not included, but we've got some great restaurants to choose from in quaint Coupeville with Sound views and great food.  If you like mussels, you'll love Front Street Grill.

Experience the magic of island life, enjoy visiting a light house and walking a very tall bridge, and ride on a ferry.

Cheryl's Northwest Tours
We pick you up and head out for Skagit Valley, a very fertile valley where all types of temperate climate vegetables, fruits and berries are grown. After passing through, we stop at Deception Pass for you to marvel at the scenery and walk across the 180' high bridge (if you want). Then enjoy the State park trail to the beach to see the green rocks. Next Coupeville for a delicious lunch. You'll end the tour with a stop to a light house, then a ferry ride.
2
Deception Pass State Park
A one and a half visit to this beautiful state park with tall forest and beautiful bridge. This is the opening of Puget Sound where the tides come and go from the Pacific Ocean.

Didn’t spend long here but did witness an amazing sunset. Interesting stories about the place. Bust bridge for traffic.

This is the second time I have been to Deception Pass on Whidbey Island with Cheryl's Northwest Tours. The first time was for the annual (and delicious) Mussel Festival. I enjoyed that trip so much that I decided to go on the Deception Pass Bridge Island tour and I was not disappointed. This tour company really makes you feel important. They only use SUV size vehicles that limit the number of people who can take the tour at the same time. It makes for such a personal and specialized outing and it's great to be able to talk to the tour guide one-on-one without a bus full of people to contend with. Thanks for another great day and all of the beautiful scenery that we enjoyed together. I can't say enough good things about this tour company and the great people who work there. I will be back!

After being told by our travel agent that no private tours to Whidbey Island were available, I found Cheryl on Trip Advisor. I contacted her, explained what we wanted to do (which included a drive down the street in Mount Vernon where my parents lived in 1943), plus stops in Oak Harbor at the PBY Museum and near the Naval Air Station where my dad was based during WWII as a PBY pilot, and she said no problem. Cheryl was very accomodating of all of our requests. She also was very knowledgable of the Puget Sound area and its history and geography. We walked the bridge at Deception Pass and toured the park. She took us to a great waterfront spot for lunch in Coupeville. Our day concluded with a ride back to the mainland on the Whidbey Island ferry. Our vehicle was clean and comfortable, and Cheryl was very personable. She picked us off and dropped us off at our downtown Seattle hotel. If you want a personalized tour of the Northwest, contact her! I am glad we did!!

I appreciate your feedback. I learned some new information at the museum, and you made the day extra fun with the visits to Dad's past. Thanks.
