Take in the Big Island of Hawai’i as you haven’t before, and snorkel at two of South Kona’s most precious treasures –Pu’uhonua O Honaunau and Kealakekua Bay. Listen as the captains relays stories detailing the rich cultural and geological history of the Island. Explore the sea caves, lava tubes, and see the diverse marine life that’s abundant off of the shores of Kona. Snacks, top of the line snorkeling gear, and flotation devices included. You simply show up with your towel and reef-safe sunscreen and away we go. With a maximum of only 14 guests per tour, the Deluxe Morning Adventure is a personal and unique snorkeling adventure not to be missed.

What To Expect

Sea Quest Hawaii

Guests will visit two snorkel locations, Kealakekua Bay, Captain Cooks Monument; and Puʻuhonua O Honaunau, the Place of Refuge. Our captain and crew will share the history and culture as they explore sea caves and lava tubes.

Our group of 6 adults (5 experienced snorkeler and 1 newbie) did this 2 spot trip and 4 of us went on the night manta ray snorkel. They were both GREAT, perfect places to see turtles, fish, rays, eels, etc, fun smaller boat so we got to see lava caves and tubes up close, staff were knowledgeable and fun. We'd highly recommend using this company.

Deluxe Morning Snorkel: Lauren and Hillary, excellent guides! Kept the mood light and entertaining, and riding on the small craft’s pontoons was not as uncomfortable as we expected. Timing was great as we got to place of refuge earlier than most the other snorkel tour groups. Great time overall and pleased we chose this tour vs. the larger catamaran or yacht tours.
