A helicopter tour is a must when visiting Hawaii. There are so many gorgeous views that are simply not accessible any other way. We were told that Kaui was one of the best islands to see from the air and we were not disappointed...from the Jurassic Park Movie falls, to the Waimea Canyon, and all along the beautiful coastline the breath-taking scenery never ends. The kicker was the slow foray into the massive volcanic crater...awesome! Our pilot, Kate, was the best!

My wife, daughter, and I took the tour and even though we had done a helicopter tour many years ago, my wife was a bit nervous about the trip. Safari was very accommodating in having her sit in the 1st row to help with any claustrophobia and our pilot (Micah) provided a smooth ride and good narration during the tour which the whole family enjoyed. We also enjoyed the music soundtrack they played during the trip. The helicopter holds 6 guests - 2 in the front row and 4 in the back. All have a good view and Micah made sure to ensure both sides had a chance to see the sights where possible. Everyone wears noise cancelling headphones and has a microphone to ask the pilot any questions throughout the trip. Since quite a bit of Kauai is not accessible, this is good way to see the island. Would definitely do it again.
