Overview

This tour takes you within 6 miles of Denali's north summit (19,470 ft.) and south summit (20,320 ft.). You will enter an ancient world of rugged high mountain peaks, towering snow-capped mountains and glacier-filled valleys and explore the south and east faces of Denali. The regular flightseeing tour is 1 hour, or choose the glacier landing option for a 1.5 hour tour including a landing atop a glacier. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience you will not forget.

K2 Aviation

You will check in at the K2 Office at the Talkeetna Airport Office, from there you will depart on your flightseeing tour of Denali

Mount McKinley

This route is the foundation for all of our flightseeing tours. Fly up to 6 miles (10 km) from Denali’s summit, then descend into the awe-inspiring Ruth Amphitheater and Great Gorge. View the Tokositna and Ruth Glaciers, the sharp ridges of Mount Huntington, hanging glaciers clinging to Mount Hunter, and the famous Moose’s Tooth.

We had a great flight. The staff was helpful, informative, and accommodating with our last minute upgrade request. Our pilot (Mack) was friendly and knowledgeable about the terrain we were seeing. The flight was smooth and comfortable from start to finish. After we left, we decided to purchase a sovinier, and the staff kindly arranged to mail it to us. Highlight of our trip!

This was amazing. Seeing Denali and the surrounding mountains from the air is breathtaking. I think this is one of the best ways to experience the wonder that is Denali National Park and Preserve. Riley is an excellent pilot. He was engaging and professional. He ensured that we had a good experience.
