Denver Graffiti Tour

Overview
Denver Graffiti Tour is a 2-hour walking showcase of Denver's best murals and street art (and some of the best in the country). Learn the story behind the art and how the rapidly changing RiNo neighborhood has affected the art and its long-time residents. Whether visiting Denver for the first time or a Mile High native, you'll see the street art and this neighborhood in a new light.

We end at the Denver Central Market, a gourmet food hall where you can eat or drink at one of the 10 eateries.

(Oh, and we offer custom times and private tours. Inquire by email or phone.)

Guided Tour
Additional Info
  • Wheelchair accessible
  • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
  • Service animals allowed
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • The majority of the walking tour is paved. There are one or two sections that may go over hard-packed dirt. And we also go down an alleyway for a few blocks that sometimes has debris and/or glass. We have had many strong people in wheel chairs on the tour with no problems, but those in wheel chairs without a lot of strength may find it difficult in certain sections.
What To Expect
1
RiNo Art District
Tour-goers will be guided on foot through the RiNo Art District to see some of the best murals and street art in the country. We'll stop at anywhere from 20-30 pieces, but you'll see nearly 100. (And we love questions about all of it.) We'll also stop to discuss the neighborhood's rapid change has brought new hip businesses but also contributed to the displacement of long-time residents ... and has had an effect on the art. We'll end at Denver Central Market (about a 1/2 mile from the start) where you can grab food or drink from any of the gourmet food hall's 10 restaurants.

It seemed as if she was annoyed when we asked her questions about the graffiti and if we happened to stop and look at one graffiti that was not on the tour she would just keep going. The tour seemed to be really rushed and she didn't speak loud enough for the group to hear and with that, it was about 40 people in the group. I believe it was way to bi of a group for her.

First off, thank you for your feedback. This is totally unacceptable to us and are truly sorry that the experience did not live up to the high standards we set for tours. We strive to provide a deep dive into the Denver street art and the neighborhood in which it's created. We also cap our tours at 25 people, but had a scheduling snafu that day that resulted in more people than expected. We have corrected for that. We failed to deliver the tour that so many have enjoyed. But it won't happen again. Please contact us directly so that we can further resolve this. Thank you for your time.

My husband and I had a great time. James was an awesome guide and even had some great recommendations for after our tour (thanks again)! Plenty of stopping points, opportunities to take pictures and very insightful. You wonā€™t regret this!!

I have gone on the Graffiti Tour twice and loved both experiences. Laura was our guide this last time on a windy Sunday morning. She did a great job explaining about the various types of art and the many different artists. She discussed the reasons why they create and talked about their techniques. The information is fascinating as is the neighborhood you tour. There will be much to discuss afterwards when you lunch at one of the many restaurants in the area.

Gosh, we love to read this. We love the idea that our tour would prompt discussions for the rest of the day. It's something we try to do as we not only explore the art but also the issues facing this changing neighborhood. Thanks for coming out.
