We had a beautiful ride! I appreciated that safety came first. We were outfitted with helmets and a Hit-Air vest (it's like an airbag for your chest in case of an accidental dismount) The horses, Ty and Maverick, were sure footed and easy going. The ride was all within the forest and along the river, no open meadows. We sometimes shared the trail with some walkers their dogs. Along with the geographic history of the river and lava flows, we were treated to river views that went from rapids to calm. If you love horses and nature, I highly recommend Wilderness Horse Adventures!

The guide was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He made me feel at ease. Beautiful horse - gorgeous ride! I would recommend this trail ride to any beginner - intermediate rider.
