Our very unique, immersive adventures are the only ones of their kind. We, unlike other companies, provide your very own remote, interactive, live host to assist and encourage you along through your phone. We are an Austin, TX-based global custom event design company offering scavenger hunts and other events in 300+ cities in North America and beyond. Our specially hand-crafted adventures are equal parts tour, creative challenge, detective hunt, and social experiment!

Guests get to discover in an alternate reality our favorite hidden gems off the beaten trail and creatively interpret fun art, history, and culture clues - for points! They get to enjoy fame and glory while appearing on our website’s international leaderboard, no matter what their score. They get to essentially race other teams in other cities, even if they don’t have competitors who have signed up in their city that day. Get ready to discover unusual oddities, laugh out loud, and make the experience your own!

Note: You MUST provide a correct, working, domestic phone number in your reservation in order for your hunt to be possible, since it is remotely hosted. Each team must bring at least one fully charged smart phone that has GPS and that can can send and receive data, photos, videos, and text messages. If you have an international phone number or encounter other technical difficulties, you must complete the game using WhatsApp or email. You can easily provide us with this contact information through a viator message in advance of your hunt.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Did not get to experience the scavenger hunt because I never received the map and when I tried to reach out to Alley Cat they would not answer the phone for me or customer service that I booked the scavenger hunt through. The departure destination did not have a clue of what I was talking about either and told me I was scammed so I would recommend finding a new destination departure if this is a ligate scavenger hunt. You need to be available for the scavenger hunt when you say you will and provide the information needed if you are going to charge someone $90 dollars for 3 people. Now they won't give me my money back nor have hey tried to reach out to me personally and when I call them I have to leave a message for them to call me back.

We are disappointed that we didn’t get to work with you, as we expressed to you over the phone. In order for your experience to be able to take place, you’re required to simply provide your phone number in your reservation when signing up for the event. That way we will be able to reach you. Now that you have provided us with your phone number, it’s too late for your scheduled event, but we hope you’ll join us in any of our cities soon - for free and on the house. Had we had your phone number and had we been able to contact you prior to your event like we did everyone else, all would have been able to flow smoothly. However, we could only send you a message through viator in advance in hopes of reminding you of this required detail, but our message was not returned. We aren’t affiliated in any way with the business you mentioned, and the meeting spot is at an outdoor - not indoor - location. Regardless, we are sorry we didn’t get to work with you and that you were unable to provide the needed information so that your experience would be possible. We were able to explain all of this to you on the phone and also shared that we have a voice mail feature so that we can return calls received if we are on the other line or if the office is not open 24/7. We are glad we were able to do that. We thank you for your understanding and would be delighted to host you and two others for free soon so that you won’t miss out on the fun! As we told you, any city hunt or virtual game of ours would be available to you in this very unique case!
