Overview

Our ship, the "Barbara-Lee", is an authentic paddle-wheeler, hosting lunch, dinner and specialty cruises. She travels across Lake Monroe and up the beautiful St. Johns River. Live entertainment, full table service and an entree selected from a menu are part of every cruise. All meals are prepared fresh in the galley. Included are appetizers, salad, dessert, and your choice of coffee, tea and iced tea. A full cash bar is also provided onboard. With three dining levels and the flexibility of table setting, it is the perfect setting for anniversary and birthday celebrations, reunions, weddings, business meetings and private charters.

What's Included

Guests order from a selection of 8 different entrees once they board the Barbara-Lee boat. Food is cooked to order. Vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options available.

Restrooms are not wheelchair accessible. There is a raised threshold you will have to step over to enter the Restrooms. All levels except the main deck require navigation of stairs. If you are not able to navigate stairs, please reach out to our staff so we can seat you on the Main Deck of the vessel.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

It was a terrible experience. The Barbara Lee boat was in dry dock so we never went on the cruise. They did not tell the transportation company until we were halfway there and offered to give us back 40 of $130. The dinner was terrible. When we arrived…a group of 12….they had to arrange seating…it was so confusing and uncomfortable, with the other guest watching us. The prime rib was like boiled ham. I had to send it back and I tried the chicken. It was better. They had us seated for an hour and a half before the dinner came I guess so we could buy more drinks. Would not recommend this excursion!!!

All of our guests, including the transportation company, were told 4 business days in advance that we were having challenges with our engine repairs and that there was a chance we would not be able to cruise but would not be able to confirm until closer to cruise date. We let clients know they had an option to cancel with full refund, rebook, or dine dockside with us at a discounted rate. We confirmed two days before the cruise that we would be dockside and that those same options still existed. We have been working for 5 weeks on the engine repairs, and they have taken much longer than originally anticipated and we are doing our best to communicate with all guests impacted by it. Normally when tour groups/transportation groups book with us, there are not sub-groups within the tour that need to be seated separately. Its not an issue to arrange the tables in advance with proper notification but we obviously didn't receive it. We are not a traditional restaurant in that we include 4 course meals that are served over the 3 hour time frame allocated for the cruise - even when dockside. All of our guests arrive and depart at the same time and the entrees are cooked to order on the ship. We start with an appetizer, then have salad and bread, entree and dessert over that period of time. Ice tea, coffee and water are included as part of the package.

Very friendly staff… entertainment during trip was nice. Need better system for cocktails. Took way too long… ended up going to bar to get my cocktail.
