We booked the tour two days ahead and did not find out until an hour before the tour started that we were not being picked up at the hotel as we had requested when we booked the trip. Greylines said it was too far to go and Cindy, the representative, was snotty on the phone not offering any suggestions or apologies. I asked for a refund or a re-schedule and she said it was not possible because we had booked through a third party. Not wanting to be out all that money, we hustled through our showers and skipped breakfast to drive the 15 minutes it took to get there. The address was confusing and we ended up at the hotel across the street asking for direction. The desk clerk was very helpful and even called Greylines herself then walked me out the door, across the parking lot and pointed to where we needed to be. She commented that when she called Greylines Cindy was very nasty to her as well and she would be telling hotel management not to use Greylines for any of their tours. Once we got to Greylines we had to wait 45 minutes because the driver was late. The tour was for the Ryman Auditorium and Country Music Hall of Fame. We had ample time at the Ryman, but only 45 minutes at the Hall of Fame, which was about half the time needed even to do a quick run-through. I felt cheated. The driver had another tour scheduled and needed to get back to pick up his next tour. This was not our fault, but we had to give up time to let the next group come through. The driver was very informative and had some nice stories, but Cindy and the shortened tour put a damper on the entire day for us.
