What To Expect

Brown University

You will visit the College Green and learn about this prestigious Ivy League university

Historic Federal Hill

You will have the opportunity to get off the tour bus and explore the cafes, markets, and pastry shops

Benefit Street

You will take in the architecture of stately College Hill, including the home of a signer of the Declaration of Independence and one of the oldest libraries in America

WaterFire

You will learn about WaterFire, Providence's most famous art installation and how the opening of the rivers transformed the city

Prospect Terrace

You will learn the story of Roger Williams, and the principles that began Rhode Island

Our driver did a great job. He was very knowledgeable. Very informative. Great tour. Just wished we could have taken more pictures. Hard to do on a moving bus. We walked around after to get some pictures.

Seeing the Capitol, Roger Williams church, the water fire area and the university. Best of all was the interesting commentary of our tour guide. We learned a lot about Providence and its history.

This gave us a decent overview of Providence, RI. Our tour guide was exceptional and made the morning fly by. That said, we did run overtime. The tour definitely is better suited for two hours rather than 90 minutes. If you take this tour give yourself that window before your next activity's start time. Price was great for all that we saw as well. Bus was clean and comfortable too. I highly recommend this tour!
