If the weather is too bad or if it is too dangerous to drive some of the scenic roads, the guide will change the tour route
Please advise at the time of booking which pick up location is preferred
Please note that it is a possibility in the winter that the visibility is limited due to snow. We are flexible with our cancellation policy if snow is in the forecast and are happy to reschedule if weather looks better on another day.
From November to April, waterproof shoes are highly recommended. Wool socks are also recommended.
Please arrive only at the pickup location you have selected on your reservation.
This is an active sightseeing tour, NOT a hiking tour. Please consider one of our hiking products for a more physically active experience.
The National Park Service has full disclosure regarding the days of operation for both Trail Ridge and Old Fall River Roads.
Lunch will be provided to all guests from April 1 to October 31.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your tour start time to check in with the guide. Check in is NOT at 9:00 am (9:45 for Boulder), DEPARTURE is at that time.

Dec 17, 2020 tour: Our guide was chill. She displayed an avid interest in guiding us with an astute eye for details. She made sure that we unanimously agreed on the places to visit, and didn't make a fuss at all. She drove safe and told us to exercise caution wherever it deemed fit. Definitely a steady and safe driver. Her knowledge of Geography was excellent.

So my tour guide was Michael! I had a great time. He was knowledgeable and very attentive to the needs of our group. He took the time really allow us to not only see the sights but bask in it as well. He was willing to take photos of you if you asked. He would even offer without you asking. It was evident he’s passionate and possesses a fervor for what he does. Coming from the south in Louisiana, this was definitely an experience for me like no other. Mountains, elk, 12 degree weather lol. I’ll never forget it! And the tour van was clean. Smallest of details but the windows were clean so you could get nice shots from inside the van as well. ANDDDDD he had snacks. Love snacks

Our tour guide, Jed, was the best! Very knowledgeable about wildlife and nature! We learned a lot about the species of trees, wildlife, history and even about how the rockies were formed. Definitely a tour to take even when you're not the fittest (from experience). Some stops were short for a nice break between driving the long drive to the rockies. Elkins was an amazing stop! Enjoyed smooth whiskey and wished SO BADLY to be able to take them home with us. Our tour guide went the extra mile and let us off where we wanted on the way back! Best guide ever!
