The hop on hop off trolley with attractions are definitely worth the money. The drivers were personable, knowledgeable about the town's history and navigated the city well. The frequency of trolleys prevented long wait times. The old jail and oldest store museum had tour guides dressed in period customs. Both guides were fantastic in describing their respective areas circa 1908. I would definitely recommend!

If you are lucky enough when you take this wonderfully comprehensive tour to get Preacher as your driver and host, you will be thrilled. My husband and I had taken the tour several years ago and did not intend to go all of the way around --- rather to hop off and get back onto another trolley. We absolutely did not want to leave. First of all Preacher's sense of humor helped to make the ride fun as well as informative. We learned things from him that we did not hear in the earlier tour or later in our recent trip when we hopped onto another trolley. We took the first trolley out in the morning and I don't know if that is his regular schedule, but I will definitely way that going with Preacher is one great experience. Thank you!

Beware of overcharging at the venue ticket booth. We purchased the trolly tour that included the jail, store and fountain of youth. We added a Harbour cruise. As we made our way to the different attractions we discovered we paid more than if we had purchased tickets at each individual place. We asked if there was a military or senior discount. They said no to military, but said they were giving us a senior discount. We figure we would have saved at least $20 each if we had purchased our tickets individually using each attraction’s military or senior discount and buying the trolly tour online. Our trolly driver, captain T was great. They picked us up at our hotel and returned us at the end of the day. It was nice to be able to see the city and learn the history. We were hoping to be able to stop and see a few things, but after the second stop, we realized that was not going to be possible. We waited 45 minutes for a trolly that wasn’t full. Decided to just stay on and drive back the next day to see what we wanted to stop to see. At every stop we made there were long lines of people waiting with no room on our trolly. Capt T had to keep apologizing and telling them there was another trolly right behind them. We will be in Boston in June. Hope we have better luck there because it looks like Old Town Tours is pretty much our only choice there.
