This was our first time visiting. We thought we could see everything we interested in, but so much more to see. My kids started melting because of the heat. We got on the trolley and got a great overview of all the attractions. Our driver was Summer. Nothing short of fantastic. She was engaging, funny and most importantly; she was coherent! If you do this, take her trolley. You won't be disappointed.

Everything I read online indicated you offer a military discount with a military ID. We waited until we got to the ticket window to buy tickets. DON'T THINK YOU ARE GETTING A MILITARY DISCOUNT FROM HERE!!!! YOU MUST GO THROUGH THE NAVAL BASE AND BUY TICKETS NOW. We were told the US Government put a stop to it because they want veterans and active duty to purchase tickets from them. I was a little shocked and disappointed to say the least. We went from BOGO stated on multiple sites (including Trip Advisor) to nothing. The lady at the window was kind enough to tell me that Atlanta isn't that far of a drive and we should take advantage of the TWO DAYS a year that our military service people can do all these things for free/ or at an great discount. I did go back and double check. Many, many websites still indicate the BOGO, but their website does indicate you have to go through the naval base to get a discount. Do your homework and go through the naval base. It's amazing all the hoops businesses want you to jump through for a well deserved discount.
