Overview

Enjoy a truly Alaskan experience in the famous North Pole Alaska on a 30 minute dog sledding adventure. This ride includes informative commentary from your local guide as you glide through the snow covered forest. You will be seated in the dog sled as the team of Alaskan Huskies whisk you down the trails. Your guide will be standing on the back of the sled driving the team by voice commands. You will have a short stop during your adventure to meet your team of Alaskan Huskies and take pictures. All outer layers of winter clothing are included.

This is a MUST if you’re visiting Alaska in the winter. We did the 1hr tour and it was about 30min of riding and 30min hanging with the dogs/setting up. We thought the 30min ride was plenty log and we didn’t get too cold either! It was about 20°. We had our own boots/snow pants/coats etc but they also provide you with whatever you need if necessary. The guides are incredible and very informative (we had Joe Weber - request him!!). They give you the rundown on the life of an Alaskan husky and what incredible athletes they are. We learned a lot! They also take a break out on the trail so you can personally meet the dogs and give them some love! Highly recommend :)

All of my mushers use their own teams of 4-legged companions they have raised from pups. We ask all of our guests to ask lots of questions about the amazing Alaskan Husky and their care. Thank you for the review.

This was such an awesome experience! Luther Buhr and his team made this experience even more wonderful. Not only were the dogs adorable, but Luther was very informative and willing to answer all of our questions about dog sledding (we are now watching videos of all the dog sledding races - it’s so cool!!) We did a 30 minute ride, perfect amount of time given that it started to snow, and we stopped in the middle for a photo session with the hard working dogs. My boyfriend and I came really prepared with all our warm snow gear but they have so many different types of gear available to use, free of charge. Overall, it was awesome and I’d be down to do it again!!

What an amazing experience, this was my first dog sledding ride and I enjoyed it very much. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I got my gear and check-in process was very smooth. The Dog team was special and they were just waiting to go :) Special thanks to Kristen and her awesome team for making this experience even more exciting. She explained all the good things and stopped at a perfect spot so that I could take really great sun rise pictures.
