We went on a 1-hour dog sledding for my son's 8th birthday. It was a totally new experience and the highlight of our trip. It was so peaceful sledding along the trails through the snow covered trees. The dogs were really cute and loved running and pulling the sled. Our mushers Joe and Joanna were fantastic. Both were so informative, friendly and helpful. Joanna raced in the Iditarod! I highly recommend this experience!

The trails are amazing. We did the 2 hour tour and there are enough trails to not repeat. Dogs and mushers were awesome. Staff is friendly and they have all the equipment you need!

Dog sledding was fun! Definitely a bucket-list thing to do. I went on a -5 degrees Fahrenheit day and they allowed us to go. The only downside is that I came from Fairbanks and I had to request a Lyft in advance. I would recommend booking a taxi or request a Lyft in advance just to be safe.

We always recommend pre booking transportation for all of your adventures while in Fairbanks. A last minute Lyft or Uber is often not available. Thank you for the review.
