Come join us as we paddle down the beautiful waterways of Fort Myers and get an up close and personal experience with the amazing nature, beauty and wildlife that Florida has to offer including, Dolphins, Manatees, Sea Turtles, Starfish, live Conch, Pelicans, Mangroves and much more. We will make a stop on the beautiful white sand beaches of Fort Myers and as we go over the interesting History of the town. My husband & myself joined Seth this morning for our first paddle board experience and it was awesome! We started out learning how to get on the board, the basics of paddling and not to worry about being eaten by sharks or gators 🤣 We then went out into Big Hickory Pass where Seth gave us a little more instruction on manoeuvring our boards before we headed off. There were 10 in the group so Seth was able to monitor us all well. No one had paddle boarded before so some of us paddled sitting, others kneeling and those with more balance standing (I stood for about 2 seconds before falling in!). Seth told us what to look out for to spot dolphins & manatees plus lots of really interesting info. He really knows his stuff. Once out of the pass we headed to a sand bar in the gulf and chilled while looking for dolphins & manatees. After a few minutes a manatee joined us and swam around our group for about 15 mins. We were able to get in the water with it which was awesome. Sadly no dolphins today but that didn’t spoil the adventure at all. We had a great time and can’t wait to do it over again. This was hands down the most fun I had on our family’s fall break trip!! Seth was our groups guide and he was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable giving great tips on how to SUP (if you’re not very experienced), wildlife and how to spot them (dolphins, manatees, rays, etc) and even as far as to call other members who hadn’t shown up yet to check on them/ see if they needed help with directions! He also sent a txt the day of with last minute info which was great! It is a little intimidating to find the meet up place because it’s literally on the side of a bridge haha but it makes complete sense once you’re there! The views and activity itself were amazing!!! Small PSA- nature is nature and not performing on a schedule- if you don’t see anything it’s still an amazing experience but Seth took us all kinds of places to make sure we got to see as much wildlife as possible!!! And don’t worry about your phone/ keys/ valuables- they have a safe place e to keep them if you’re not comfortable taking them out! Again- BEST activity I did the whole trip!!! Would def book it again!!
