Enjoy a beautiful sunset while enjoying one of our signature cocktails! There’s no better way to end the day! Join us aboard our two-hour Orange Beach, AL dolphin and nature cruise. This cruise combines all the features of the dolphin cruise with extra floating time through the hidden creeks of the back bays. We spend the first hour locating and observing our local dolphin pod, and we spend the second hour in the estuaries.
Our knowledgeable tour guide and captain point out the local flora and fauna. You may see osprey and their nests, herons, bald eagles, red-tailed hawks, and maybe even an alligator or two. The Explorer allows us to get as close as safely possible to the banks and the local marine and wildlife. Because the boat only needs 16 to 18 inches of water underneath, we can sneak into creeks and swamps where few other boats can go, providing you with a truly unique and memorable experience.

What To Expect

Orange Beach

Two hulls provide stability for a smooth ride without leaning to one side. Come enjoy a two-hour sail at sunset aboard the Cetacean, a 52-foot Hawaiian catamaran. With the wind in our sails, the Cetacean skims along the waters of Orange Beach, Alabama and Perdido Key, Florida. While out sailing, you’ll see coastal wildlife and marine life all around. Take in the sights and sounds as pelicans and cormorants dive into the water; bald eagles, egrets, sea gulls, herons and osprey fly nearby; schools of bait fish surround the sailboat; and our resident pod of dolphins plays in our bow wake. Being out on the water was great but the captain left a lot to be desired. Corny jokes and bragging about himself wasn’t what I came for. Drinks were quite expensive for the amount you received but captive audience will pay.

Wow. Captain likes to recount tales of his previous career in marine biology and dolphin research because it is very interesting, and our customers know that he truly is qualified to educate them on our resident dolphin pods and local wildlife. We don't consider 'listing qualifications' as bragging. Our drink prices are very comparable to literally every restaurant in Orange Beach. Thank you for sharing your experience.

The captain was great and made the tour fun and educational. Very intimate size boat and everyone got to feel a part of it. The crew was great and took pictures of everyone at some beautiful spots. Captain played the best music. I have done other dolphin cruises in OBA, but this one will be my go-to when family and friends visit. Well done!
