Overview

Our Shell Island and dolphin tour is fun for families of all ages, the tour includes a stop at Shell Key preserve, a popular nature preserve known for numerous different types of shells. Snorkeling equipment is available for use at Shell Island. During the tour we will be looking out for wild dolphins, numerous dolphins inhabit the waters around the area. Our vessel is a US Coast Guard inspected vessel carrying up to 42 passengers. The vessel is easy to board both at our dock and the beach. The boat also offers plenty of shade for those trying to stay out of the sun and it is also equiped with a restroom.

What To Expect

St. Pete Beach

Join us aboard Adventure 1 A Coast Guard inspected vessel for a cruise around St.Pete beach, enjoy collecting shells at Shell Key for Approx 45Mins. During the tour we are always looking for our local dolphins. The boat is equiped with a bathroom and two thirds of the vessel are under shade. A great family adventure, fun for all ages

It was a great time. Got to see alot of dolphins and found a bunch of different shells. And there weren't that many people on the cruise. So the little island was perfect.

Amazing trip to Shell Key. Captain Ian was very knowledgeable of the area and very professional. We were able to find some awesome shells and even 2 fully intact sand dollars. Saw dolphins on the way back. Great excursion.

I will start this review by saying we did not get a chance to actually go. After booking this for a Thursday afternoon, it got cancelled due to weather. The employee that I spoke too was absolutely wonderful about having to cancel and did the best he absolute could in order to get us on the boat a different day. He also gave us a ton of advice for booking the next time we visit. He suggested not booking this towards the end of your vacation because it is easier to reschedule during the days you are there. This may be “common sense” but it meant a lot to us for the staff to take their time and explain this to us. They were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Next year we will be definitely booking again.
