I found out about this tour because it was advertised at the hotel I was staying at. It was a terrible experience, I was shown boats more than dolphins. These dolphins were far away and the tour guides would not get closer for a better view. It was advertised to have free parking, and to be an hour long of fun. There was no free parking and they took up a lot of time talking to us before actually going to see anything in the water. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

Unfortunately we are unable to thank you for your feedback, we are however able to state the facts contrary to the incorrect information you have received. Fact #1: Almost all of the Galveston Strand area, including our location at Pier 21 has PAID parking. Therefore, we do not advertise free parking. The paid parking is moderately priced. Fact #2: We are required by the United States Coast Guard to give a safety/greeting speech before each trip we operate. Fact#3: There are a few thousand Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins native to our harbor and bay here in Galveston, TX. They are however, protected by the Marine Mammal Protection Act, we cannot feed, touch or harass this protected species in their natural habitat. Fact#4: We do advertise a narrated tour, our crew will be talking, and pointing out sights at their discretion while underway. As well as fun music and jokes. We are sorry for your terrible experience, for our future customers reading this, we look forward to seeing you on our Island soon. Have a great day! ;)

This is our third year to take the jet boat tour. I take the entire family, including grandkids. I know what to expect am and still surprised and a little scared. Captain Graham has been our captain every time and he inspires confidence and adds some great humor. I have a daughter with a slight physical handicap and he is especially attentive to her and great with the youngsters. It cannot be easy dealing with a bunch of tourists and the occasional screaming kid, but he handles it with humor and professionalism. We will return and certainly hope that he is still there to drive the boat! Fast, fast, fast.....yet we felt safe. The Hamilton spins are so fun! We had perfect weather on August 13. Smooth and a slight breeze. Wear clothes that you can get wet in and enjoy the ride. They accommodated everyone from our 4-year-old grouchy granddaughter to my big old butt. 55 years old and not really spry. We have also done the Dolphin TOur and it is very reasonably priced and the kids had a blast! It is so nice to have staff that that is not burned out by us demanding travelers. Humor and knowledge are the way that they handle it. Great job!

We are local(ish) to Galveston, but we have never been on a dolphin tour before. We are so glad we went with Galveston Water Adventures! The crew was amazing! We will be going again!!
