Overview

Introducing Squid! The first USCG approved Lithium-Ion battery Electric Passenger boat in the USA. The quietest experience you will have on a boat while watching dolphins.
We worked with David Walworth, an MIT educated Naval Architect and Principal Engineer known for his high-efficiency catamaran designs, to build the perfect boat for our trips from scratch.

Our amazing crew are closely trained by our Honest Eco Biologists. Crew training starts on land with research and mission alignment before moving onto the water where we hone our seamanship skills and work to become as effective as possible at delivering on our Purpose.

Our captain, first and second mate were amazing! Very knowledgeable, I learned so much about dolphins! It is nice to have small groups and the fact they gave us breakfast, lunch, snacks and water was an added bonus. I have never been snorkeling before and was a little nervous but the crew explained everything and made sure my equipment was on properly and I was ready to go before getting into the water.

Incredible day! Thanks Jessie, Rachel, and Devin! This was the highlight of our time in Key West :) The catamaran boat helped us avoid all seasickness. The information shared was awesome and conveyed a heartfelt caring for the environment, which is contagious. The food was fresh, light, and tasty. Snorkeling, kayaking, and communing with a baby dolphin and mom dolphin made for the perfect Key West day. Thank y’all for what you do. We will certainly be back.

We had a total blast aboard the Squid, the coolest electric passenger boat of its kind! From the incredible knowledge of both the captain (Katie) and her assistant (Jackie)- we learned a ton about the ocean, Key West area, and dolphins. The crew had years of experience and clearly love what they do on board the Squid. On our half-day trip, we lucked out with seeing a few different pods of dolphins and a tiny baby. We'd never been that close to dolphins before. You could tell from the way the staff handles our sightings to the dolphins that the crew care deeply about conservation and not invading those beautiful animals space! The snorkeling was also wonderful and the crew did a great job helping my 7 year old (great swimmer) navigate the snorkeling in the ocean water. The snacks on board too were amazing- fresh fruits and veggies were a total hit. We highly recommend this incredible trip. It is clear from the whole adventure how Honest Eco cares deeply about conservation and giving tourists an authentic, wonderful and safe experience on board.
