I took an afternoon dolphin cruise with Hubbard's marina. Although I did see dolphins, and the cost was unreal ($5 holiday special), I have been on many other similar cruises that I found to be much more rewarding. I was not especially impressed by the tour, and the guides were not very nice. I would recommend this tour for kids and families, though.

The cruise was an enjoyable one. The staff at the information and ticket booths were friendly and informative. We only saw a few dolphins, but the scenery along the ride was nice. Captain Jack gave many interesting facts about the area during the cruise. He skillfully maneuvered the boat when there were waves created by other boats so we had a smooth ride. Snacks and beverages were available for purchase. We saved on parking with their parking voucher. My only complaint was that the first mate was more interested in playing on her phone than keeping an eye out for dolphins.

My husband and I had a fun experience taking the dolphin cruise out of John's pass thru Hubbard's Marina. We were very lucky to see 5 dolphins in different areas along our scenic route. One playfully put on a show for us. The staff was wonderful and the captains narration was very informative regarding what we were seeing along the coast line. Another great plus us it's non smoking. A trip for all ages
